Who We Are
Moveology Pilates and Fitness offers full apparatus pilates. Apparatus pilates is a type of resistance training that focuses on the body as a whole. This means you'll work your upper body, lower body, core as well as working on flexibility, mobility, building strength and joint stability, as well as a range of motion. We offer pilates for all movers out there. Pilates is truly something for everyone! At Moveology we meet our members where they are at and help them reach their goals, as well as a fun, supportive community to make working out fun!
Shi (Shieda) started her pilates certification while she was attending ASU to get her BS in Health and Wellness Lifestyle Coaching in 2020, while also attaining her CPT through ISSA. Shi got her full apparatus certification through the Balanced Body Training method. By the time she finished her certification she had already taught, learned and applied the method for thousands of hours. Shi, being an athlete her entire life (even playing 1 year of collegiate women’s basketball) absolutely fell in love with pilates her first class and knew that it was her future. Being an exercise junkie and playing sports has had a huge impact on her teaching style and flow!
