Moveology Pilates and Fitness yoga and pilates studio offers full apparatus pilates. Apparatus pilates is a type of resistance training that focuses on the body as a whole meaning. You'll work upper body, lower body and of course your core. In class, you'll also work on flexibility, mobility, building strength and joint stability, as well as a range of motion. We offer pilates for every considerable client. Pilates is truly for everybody! At Moveology we meet our members where they're at! We help them set goals, and help them reach those goals! Reformer, Tower, Chair

Flow class focuses on developing your mind body connection, learning and applying how to breath and move, learning how to engage core muscles to build core strength and working on developing more body control.

Athletic Pilates Training

Athletic pilates is for the cross training pilates partier. Let's get real it's so important to move your body as many ways as possible whether it pilates, weight lifting, running or swimming, or any other movement. Athletic pilates help you achieve that physical mobility.

Jump Board (Cardio)

This is a great class for the mover that doesn't have time to go for a run and go to pilates or yoga classes. With jump board (cardio) we've brought them together. This is a very up beat fast tempo class. Jump board is great because it facilitates plyometrics.

Meet Shi

Shieda (Shi-e-duh) a.k.a "Shi" Washington

Company Owner

Shi is the studio owner of Moveology Pilates and Fitness in Chandler, AZ. She's been an athlete her entire life, even playing basketball at the collegiate level. During that time, Shi took her first pilates class and instantly fell in love. Shi obtained her bachelor's degree in health and wellness lifestyle coaching from Arizona State University in 2020, while simultaneously working on her pilates certification. Shi became a certified personal trainer through the International Sports and Science Association (ISSA), before receiving her Full Apparatus Certification through the Balanced Body Training method to teach pilates. By the time Shi finished her certification, she had already spent thousands of hours teaching and instructing students. Sports and exercise have always been Shi's passion, which has ultimately impacted her teaching style and flow, as she is well known for her "spicy" teaching style!
